The Fiber Optic Converter use the progressive digital technologies to provide outstanding repeatable performance for today’s data systems. The converter supports transmission of one bi-directional data channel over one single mode or multi-mode optical fiber. It has a plug and play design that ensures an ease of installation with no electrical or optical adjustment needed. LED Indicators installed in the unit clearly shows the operational status of unit. The converter is available in compact wall mount or 3U chassis card.
These converters are used to extend serial transmission distance up to 2km in multi-mode fiber or up to 20-100km in single-mode fiber. This converter incorporates a method for automatically detecting the serial signal baud rate by the hardware.
